……. It’s the big shutdown contract year Charlie Brown. One year term, no big wage increase but the health care will increase as usual. The less than smart ones will say it’s a decent contract because they got the chump change. This place (Schdy) is full of wanna be engineers out of high school and off the local fast food assembly line. They think they know what’s going on. Came from a minimum wage job and got lucky to be on this assembly line. Well all good things come to and end. Verona, 1 year contract 2023 the future is not looking good here.

Misery loves company. For some people it all they know how to function in for an environment. If things actually went correctly and everything was good, they wouldn't be able to cope with it and would most likely subconsciously sabotage it. You can't have a positive work envioment with negative people. Most of those in 273 hate their lives in general. They can't even stand being at home and around their own family. You can't get any positive motivation or outcome from that. I realize things suck and we all can't go get Lambos, lifted trucks and 50 weeks of vacation, but we're not supposed to be able to and no amount of feeling it's unfair to not have those things will change that.
The weird thing I noticed working in Schdy was alot of the workers had a fetish for bad things/demise of 273. Like somehow they get a "kick" out of watching it go under. These are the same people that probably want to be everyone's buddies in the plant. It's sad
