Help next layoffs coming soon 4sure

I know they are coming, I've interviewed for 10 positions and everyone one wanted to hire me but said they just implemented a hiring freeze.

You glossed over the interesting part; how do you know layoffs are coming? Or is this more unfounded speculation?

bi-annual layoffs at Netapp are as inevitable as the sun rising every day.

Or, "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day".

I know layoffs are coming because I was asked to do multiple POCs with MSP vendors and I have been asked to work with some other groups to do a 'GAP ANALYSIS' to see where consolodiation of duties is possible. We all know what that means when this happens.

In fact, hiring freezes prevent RIFs. I find NetApp to be a pretty well run company personally. I'm not a lifer, got there about 5 years ago, I've been give a different remit every 6 mo, a new manager every year and a solid pay check every two weeks, so can't complain. All in, it's a good place to work Alrighty gentlemen, let the trolling begin.

Are you guys that d-mb? The OP didn't say if they have interviewed for 10 positions internally and the first responder said HR announced freeze back in December.
