How big were these bonuses for regular employees?
They want to spend as much as possible to make sure they can lay off.
VCP funded so they could show they are broke. Bankruptcy on Horizon.
I’m a long timer, happy to get a bonus but know it’s not good for the company in the long run. Because in a month or so it will be forgotten and then overall bad for the company long term well being. As thought by many, look out for yourself and get what you can while it’s still there.
I can understand profit sharing when times are good but when times are bad we all be tightening our belts and getting pay cuts not getting bonuses and pay raises.
Short termer thinking would be happy to get the bonus that the company cannot afford.
Long termer thinking would be unhappy to get the bonus that the company cannot afford.
