Where are the (few) remaining stores getting their merchandise?
Are they emptying the warehouses?
Are new orders being made? If so, who is ordering them?

I think Eddie Lambert should sale k mart & sears to sears mexican. Carlos Slam would be a much better owner than Eddie. We need to save all the stores we can to turn this ship eround.
Ed lamberts garage
for online order fulfillment and return order processing.
If that's correct, where are these two jobs actually located?

The Kmart distribution center in Manteno, IL was sold and closed in March of 2020. There is no Sears distribution center there.
I thank the merchandice is coming from Transfromco.
jobs.sears.com has warehouse jobs listed in Manteno, IL and Lawrence, KS, posted this month.
I don't think there are any warehouses left open for so few stores so spread out. I imagine anything they buy is shipped direct to stores by the seller.
The last time I was in one of their stores it appeared the merchandise was being purchased from what other retailers were unable to sell. They probably don't need to order much however as it seems what they do have just sits there anyway. I recall racks of swimwear in the aisles during the holiday season. Shoes were stacked in boxes, and the boxes looked like they'd been shuffled around for years. Most of the clothes were only available in sizes few people wear (ex: XS or 3XL). I'm guessing the buyer position is only part-time......probably shares a cubicle with the merchandiser.
