The pre-marvin Lowes is never going to comeback. That ship has sailed and the gravy train is over due to hedge funds controlling the board. You're never going to ever make a livable income as a CSA so if you don't have ambitions to be a specialist or manager than it's time to move on. We're going into a recession and especially an earnings recession in retail and companies are going to keep payroll lean to boost stock prices You don't need to stay at Lowes. There's plenty of other companies that are willing to pay motived workers a better salary. Can't find a better job? Than it's time to move or devote your time to learning a marketable skill

Back when Tillman was still in charge a vendor told me Wall Street, not Tillman, ran this company. I thought he was on something…. turned out he knew something that took me until Mervin to figure out

Mr. Tillman visited the store I worked at back when. He shooed away the management posse and went around talking with the hourlies.

I'm a Tillman-Stone era dino, and know that the only thing lasting is change.
Don't have to like it, but I ride with it as local management treats me good.

I agree with all these points. All I can say though is that there are plenty of csa at not only my store, but many others where the csa makes more than most specialists and even ds.

All the best ASMs were awesome playing hide and seek as children. And the best liars too🤗

I drive by my old Blowes and see the same people's cars parked there. How do they stand it? Is it Stockholm Syndrome? Please leave that sweatshop. There are real jobs with real mgmt out there. Blowes mgmt and corporate FEED OFF YOUR PAIN. You deserve better.
