I worked hard and it didn't get recognized, almost LR'ed, so I left.
Recruiter contacted me a while back, they will do interview and decide even though I am an ex employee.
If I Join cisco and get LR'ed again, why should I join. How to handle this. Can someone put a note saying that if he get LR'es cisco has to pay atleast $1M.

The point is maybe the management is cr@ppy, not the people's work; and the people have had enough of so called "leaders" who couldn't inherently fight their way out of a paper bag, if they themselves had to do produce results.
Leadership here is mostly a joke, across the board. The company needs to go on a diet and cut the fat of middle management across the board.
I managed plenty of people who worked hard and produced cr---y work. Your point?
Working while hard might though!
I wonder how I can stop getting email notification of Connected Recog
Getting Connected Recognition emails is not something you can stop. It's actually not an email notification. It's not something you can unsubscribe. Even if you set it to Junk box, you still get it in Junk box anyway. You can just "Clear" Junk box when you see Junk is bolded without opening Junk box. I guess that's the only way.
Man, even the trolls on this board are stupid.
First, you worked hard and almost (got) LR'ed, so you left. Now you have an interview and are asking if you join Cisco (again) and get LR'ed again, why should you join?
You didn't get LR'ed the first time, you left, so you won't be getting LR'ed again.
Why should you join? To have an easy job with a decent paycheck and great life/work balance and get a great severance package to put in the bank when you go find a new job.
As to getting a $1M in severance if you get LR'ed, you only get that if you are at the CxO level and based on your typing skills, that's not happening.
Between the OP and the person sick of Connected Recognition because they can't get any, Cisco needs smarter employees.
I worked hard and it didn't get recognized [..]
Perhaps you worked hard without any accomplishments?
I wonder how I can stop getting email notification of Connected Recog, which just makes feel so sick!
You are not very tech savvy, are you?
I know! I couldn't agree more!
Cisco really should abolish stupid "Connected Recognition" system immediately.
I'm so sick of getting this stupid "Connected Recognition" emails day after day, even on weekends. I don't care who received this or that recognition. I know there are ALWAYS Same Old employees getting that stupid Connected Recog over and over and over. They did not do anything outstanding or accomplish anything great. It's just a tiny mark of completion of a small task which can be done by anyone, even by high school students. Yet they keep getting it again and again just because they've been staying at Cisco for so long, whereas truly talented and skilled employees get no Connected Recognition ever, whatsoever they do hard, howsoever they accomplish.
"Connected Recognition" is a symbol of unfairness and meaninglessness. Stupidity. So childish!
