I work at ex Global Imaging core company, now rebranded as Xerox business solutions. We were a busy growing local entity before the pandemic... Sure, the pandemic is somewhat to blame for the decline, but most of what i have seen is the fault of Xerox. About 2 yrs ago Xerox flipped the switch and gave us their business model. They essentially neutered our business(outsourced admin/decentralized parts and supplies/outsourced technical support/ layoffs) and the list goes on. In my tenured time with the company, i have never seen it this bad. I'm not quite sure how many core companys Global Imaging had, but speaking with some remaining mgt(off record), this is happening at all the cores. Customers in our area are leaving in droves. Its quite frightening actually. Global Imaging catered to the small/medium business, what xerox did poorly at, and now all the acquired market share is dissipating.. Seems like the Global acquisition was a huge wasted expense at this point, and our fleeing customers are feeling it. I only see more layoffs coming(we can barely function as it is). I believe attrition is also part of the xerox plan of downsizing. I cant believe they will keep our building open too much longer(huge expense). Its creepy going there to see hardly any business being done. I truly hope this isn't happening everywhere...
Tech in the west region...
I am looking at other options at this point(Its not worth it anymore!)/attrition.
The water feels at neck level at this point.
Thanks for listening...
