Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Who is the liquidation company

Is BBB self closing?

Is it a liquidation company such as Sb360 and what about fixtures and racks??

Is inventory being transferred??

Seems odd to do it like this.

My store is currently on week 3 for liquidation sale.
We still don't have a set date to close our doors.
DM got laid off 3 days ago but was asked to stay until mid april.
We shipped out 4 pallets of merch that we had massive amounts of (espresso machines, Breville air fryers and Keurig) to the 2 of 7 that remain.
Just heard that one of the stores that is scheduled to close their doors mid march are sending us their leftovers (since our date is still pending).

Use to be Hilco but I guess B Riley has taken a ton as well now.

Our store is using B Riley . No inventory is being transferred out and the fixtures are being sold on site. I believe some fixtures may be transferred as they have given us the list of exemptions to the fixtures allowed to be sold.

Bbb uses Gordon Bros also. Each has a fixture sale after fixtures are claimed by other stores. Certain product is transferred out to other locations per corporate direction.
