Thread regarding Sears layoffs

There are no Kmarts or full line Sears currently closing, flow chart coming.

As stated, there are no Kmarts or full line Sears currently closing. Like nada, zippo, zilch. You Know which Kmarts are not closing?

  1. Guam Kmart is not closing.

2-5. USVI Kmarts are not closing.

  1. WESTWOOD Kmart is not closing.
  2. MIAMI Kmart is not closing.
  3. BRIDGEHAMPTON Kmart is not closing.

So can we please stop with the threads stating that they are closing?

Here is a nice, handy, flow chart to help y'all figure out which stores are, or aren't closing:

Good, now that we got that flow chart out of the way, look at that SB360 link. The only Sears on there are Hometowns and they should be almost done with those by now, so other than that, NO SEARS OR KMARTS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSING. End of story.

To the poster below, Miami is Kendale Lakes not Kendall. And it is NOT closing, there is only a job for remodeling. That article is wrong.

I think these are the "go forward" stores. Time to focus on them, and bring Kmarts & Seares back to the primetime!

My word. Thank you. Someone had to Say this.

Though I do want to add that it's a bit odd that no full size Sears are currently closing. With only a few exceptions, there has almost always been at least SOME Sears or Kmart on the SB list at any given Time. Seems like we're in a bit of a dry spell now, other than Hometowns.

And even in 2022, we only (as far as I Know) got rid of 2 Kmarts, Avenel and PR. Seems like the pace has tailed off from the prior Years.
