Right now the need for technicians in the automation field is incredibly high. The pandemic caused factories to go towards machine automation which is now a booming business.

The components that run printers are no different than that of other machinery and your experience diagnosing them is very sought after right now. Take some time to study PCL systems and do some self learning, you can walk into these interviews and have an offer letter the next day, I did.

Xerox has no future and now is the time to jump to a booming industry. At least throw your resume out there and see what comes back, you'll be surprised.
