Almost a third of current VMW employees are "Open to work" on LinkedIn. If you add those that are looking but haven't changed their profile, you're probably at about half the company searching.
If thats not a clear indication what employees think, I dont know what is.

Who cares.
I am one of those Open to Work. However, it doesn't mean I want to leave. I have a great position that isn't going away anytime soon. But, it never hurts to see what else is out there that could be more fun.

Looks like op exaggerated a bit.
There are 8500 current employees that have indicated they are open to work, so just over 20%?
I would think that there are quite a few more looking though, but who knows how many. Even if that is 100%, 20%+ is still a decent chunk...
You dont need to have VMW folks in your network, all you need is a LinkedIn recruiter account and figuring out how advanced search works.
@xav+1l69LJoO No. op stated half. So, ~20,000 employees looking. So, he has linkedin with ~40000 VMW folks. Impressive network you got there Op. You should have no trouble finding jobs. That is a clear indication for sure.
