Country discrimination law suit

In our bu the engineers in US soil got used as canon fodder to keep teams in India intact. 95% of the people laid off was in US.
No points for guessing that the VP is based out of India office.

Do you guys think it will be worthwhile to pursue a lawsuit on the disproportionate impact on US teams because the VP is based out of India.

No one's forcing you to stay with an employer. Also, no one's using you as "cannon fodder". There is some evidence that those cut had higher seniority but good luck proving that this was a "sort-by-seniority" thing. Regardless, I recommend taking your severance and finding another job if you need one, or retire if you don't.

Slim chance you'll win. Classic off-shoring and there's not reasonably enforceable law about it (thanks Big Gov for fu----g over the value producers in the US).

The bright side for you here is:

You get to look forward to whatever product you worked on being run into the ground by your Indian counterparts :)

I've never heard of a law that requires layoffs to be equal across countries. A lot of discrimination in the US is legal unless it's covered by applicable amendments or local laws.
