Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Where were and are the original Bed Bath and Beyond locations??

I was just looking at the store numbers of different stores and it appears that Canoga Park was one of the original locations, store number 8, and Tucson, Arizona-Crossroads Festival is store number 47. Are store numbers numbered after what stores first opened or is it a different system?? Where were the 17 locations of Bed Bath and Beyond in 1985: http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/bed-bath-beyond-inc-history/, mentioned in here. Are any of them still around and is there any that closed or are closing??

The question should be. What OG Bed and Bath (No Beyond yet) locations still exist and closed. The roller skating rink closed awhile ago;)
Bless you all store level employees.

But #1 isn't the original building. Oldest original building I know of is 29, in the DC metro area
