Those getting NI at meta are coping by saying 'we are still top 1% of all engineers in tech'. Can you imagine the arrogance ? Many mediocre DEI hires are still working here. They were hired NOT for their ability. Combine that with ethnic favoritism where a true NI never gets NI b/c manager and report are from same country. Meta needs a deep cleanse, a reset. The toxicity has hit a new high.

@xx So true. 1point3acres . So meta is comprised of mediocre DEI hires, leetcode memorizers, manager favoritism by country of origin. Is it any wonder Zuck wanted to term 60% ?
Same for the non-DEI hires. They spent too much time memorizing leet-code questions and got asked just the right questions at the interview.
