Retiree HRA

For those lucky enough to retire in 2022, does anyone know if there is an online chat board for Ford Retirees. In particular, working with ViaBenefits is impossible. Has anyone had success at getting the monthly HRA reimbursed after paying for benefits through Alight?
Sorry to post here....hoping someone had info on another Ford retiree forum.

@1roq+1kx4uoIA Be careful analyst predictions showing 18% drop in stock market in 2023. 12% gain in bond market. Bad assumption that there cannot be two back to back down years in stock market. T-bills good idea for short term.

There is a Facebook group named "Ford Retirees". Not sure you will get any better answers there , but at least it's another forum for you.

We did cobra and they made us pay two months of premiums up front then they reimburse the ~1500 for each month. Not seen any reimbursements yet but they pulled the 2 month cost about a week ago.

I’m more exited about the 1.4M lump sum arriving Jan 15. Gonna build a nice t bill ladder that should make us an easy 5% annualized on that money. Another million coming out of Alight 401K into the same account which we will be investing in a wide range of healthcare, dividend, black rock, and 10-15% in some aggressive growth stocks that were beaten down hard this past year. Great time to invest over the next year.

I’ve had no issues for two years now… just upload to VIA’s site three screenshots — proof of coverage with covered names from when you sign up for insurance, proof of first month payment, and proof of recurring future payments — and VIA actions it within about 5 days.

My hubby’s a retiree. We submit out reimbursement to VIA & have had no trouble getting reimbursed for our premiums. The premiums pretty much eat up our $1000 per month HSA money.

I retired last May. GSR…. I receive reimbursement / payment of $1000 per month for my wife and I. I did have to follow-up a lot at first to ensure it would be paid.
