Sadly, Paywalled, but it shows that it's closing. Anyone have the exact counts on which small Sears (non Hometowns) are non-closing? Or are the others closing? Let's get a master list of non-closing, remaining Sears again. List guys?
So it appears to me that NONE of the 5, small format, non-Hometown stores, are closing. Perhaps he will leave these 5 open, going forward, to "save face", that he preserved Sears, or something LOL.
@1zie+1kwiTHnn No, these were owned by individual franchisees, but that's a moot point, as all Hometowns are either closed, or closing.
@1cjh+1kwiTHnn Doesn't appear that way. From the links provided by others here, it seems that those 5 small stores (at least for now), are not closing. So we are left with 12 large Sears, 5 small ones, 8 Kmarts, plus the ramdoms in places like Bermuda, which some people count, and others don't.

I believe the Home & Life stores are owned by TransformCo, unlike the Hometown Stores, which Eddie only owned a 37% stake in at the time of bankruptcy.
All five of the smaller format Sears locations in Fort Collins, CO, Overland Park, KS, Lafayette, LA, Camp Hill, PA, and Pharr, TX are on Sears Hometown's store list. It looks like it could be quite likely all five of those smaller format stores will close.

So we have 4 small-format sears stores
The five small-format Sears stores (not Hometowns) that are still open:
Fort Collins, CO
Overland Park, KS
Lafayette, LA
Camp Hill, PA
Pharr, TX
The two stores in Anchorage, AK and Honolulu, HI closed last year.
The Sears Appliance Store in Fort Collins, Colorado was one of the first company owned small stores. It now is listed with the Hometown locations. When the location link is clicked on the Hometown website, it goes to the "All stores closing" banner.
Incidentally they have added a warning on the banner to Hometown store gift card holders. Use them soon before the stores close.
Looks like this leaves roughly 12 regular Sears, about 4 small ones, plus 8 Kmarts. Hopefully, when SB360 wraps up Frederick MD on January 15, we get some more good ones soon!
I think the one in Alaska also closed.
