thank you to all who post comments on this site, it does show the good and bad of the company, this site is better than any HR model and now i really do see hypocrisy in our workplace, been here for over 20 years and it really does sadden me that after the events of covid and working hard through the last three years , i actually feel like a number, the men in our facility have moaned for years about being termed "you're just a number" but this phrase is tagged to each and every one of us below JG8. I fully understand this now and sad to see relevant employees going and lazy, arrogant, belligerent and narcissistic people kept on and treated like gods. I used to love coming to work every day up until last year when for the first time in my life , i started suffering depression and anxiety caused by work, no-one is interested in helping me and i feel like leaving but then is that right, should i be bigger and should i start shouting back,

As caring 3Mer says, please get professional help. 3M does have a wonderful EAP program and those folks are not allowed to, nor would they ever, divulge anything back to 3M about your feelings.
Do know that this post may disappear. It appears that censorship has started happening even right here. A post about tireman was removed this evening. Not sure what legal pressure 3M is trying to use here to silence speech but those lawyers should be working on PFAS or earplugs lawsuits.
I agree with your appreciation of this site. Please know just a number is felt at JGs above 8 as well.
I encourage you to meet with a counselor through 3M, they are NOT in anyway connected to HR, they may be able to assist you in setting some healthy boundaries. Not sure what you mean by fighting back, I would suggest clear communication and getting clear on the expectations of your role and then working at establishing healthy boundaries.
And know, your coworkers appreciate and value you, even if the company appears not to.
Take care of you, wishing you a healthier 2023.
