Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Xerox is doomed not because of financials

As a Xerox investor, I’ve realized some concerning challenges ahead for the company and it’s not on the balance sheet.

It feels like the team is focusing on disagreements instead of the big picture, and these conversations remind me a bit of middle school chats—definitely room to grow.

@OP This was a text book take over of a company, like the history of Sears and other brand name companies. There are a boat load of YouTube on the LBO (leveraged buyout) and take overs where the controllers just build up the debt of the company and force it to bankruptcy. So I am confused when people ask what happened.
Management is just milking it dry with their wages at this point. History shows this happening regularly with corporate raiders, but the past CEOs made it possible for the raiders to do it. So your 60 yo plus manager reviewing your resume to lay you off is the one that actually should be fired, they are the problem.

The company is doomed because the people in charge don't know sh-t about the business.

You must be a cr-p investor if you are coming here for info. And it is the financials.

No, it's the financials. They lose money every single day, and have no real plan to turn it around. The lack of alarm from SLT is itself, quite alarming. Either they have some genius, galactic brain plan to turn this around - which they are keeping a secret - or they are coasting towards an inevitable conclusion.

They're focusing on getting us to change our signature to be more in line with a new design (ugly as dogwater by the way) rather than actually changing any of the inefficient processes and systems. They've kept going by momentum all this time, not sure how long they're going to be able to keep this momentum going.
