The standard "method of operation", at least in the mid-west, still to this day, is to hire 4 as part time from a temp agency promising all 4 to go "full time with benefits" at 18 months. At 17 months they were all let go siting one reason or another. A month later there were 4 more on boarded with the same 18 month full time promise. Needless to say this city is not big enough to hide that information and the hiring pool has dwindled drastically as the word as to what Xerox does to there future employees got around.

One, you never get employees fully up to speed, and two, the manager loves it as the temp agency is the one who has to tell the "future promised" employee they don't need to show up at work on Monday.

CareAR program at it's best. 30 years is as good as 30 days of experience....we got you covered...

We were warned if we would mention the scenario that is normal to these new hires we would be put on disciplinary action!!

It is not uncommon for a company to beef up one part of the company while completely decimating another. It doesn’t mean anything one way or the other. X is a bunch of black helicopter tin foil hat dead heads now.

Its no secret that the whole technology sector is hurting right now. Hiring freezes are very common. Xerox will hire 18 people and keep 2. Thats how this company works. Especially out of a trade school. Do more with less thats the new prime directive now.
Did you really expect anything less? Enjoy…..

It’s hilarious watching you mo--n$ grasping for straws. Just because it doesn’t fit your narrative that Xerox is going bankrupt or going out of business, you’ll write anything to try to discredit it. Yes there is hiring going around all the regions again in 2023. If you’re not getting calls back (even though you’re probably BS’ing about applying in the first place since most of you guys have the intelligence of a grapefruit), doesn’t mean it’s not happening. I wouldn’t say the floodgates are open on hiring, but we’re not at a total freeze like we were since revenue was being hit hard by the supply chain issues in 2022. Please cry on. Haha

I have not seen any "real" jobs posted for a long time. Posting jobs looks good to the share holders making them feel like there IS growth and their investments are on solid ground. I have followed through with 3 jobs that were supposedly official jobs yet only to be told there were no jobs available. And they did'nt know who i was (just a regular Joe looking for employment with the proper credentials.

One cannot believe anything this company posts. This company has a patent on the word doublespeak…

It could be a post so that the job can go to an overseas worker. I think they have to post the job before they can bring in someone on an h1b

LoL... Well...hiring replacements for anyone making more than minimum wage that is. Trying to engineers with script reading level 1 phone operators to replace skilled labor. I think it's time to talk union? Then they'll hire companies to discourage the idea of course but it's the only way to stop them at this point.

Are they really Hiring ? I tried to get hired at xerox (3 X) went through the process at xerox, but was told through E-mail no job existed as posted. Smoke and Mirrors. don't be fooled. Or maybe its so convoluted they don't know what they are doing.

Hire that way, wait at least 6 months per person before a hint of progress it yielded

Yes, here’s how this works: Hire one new, outsource three and lay-off five.

Now they are hiring people that can
barely speak or understand english.

They buy into whatever xerox says, and then they wonder why what xerox said, never panned out.

You could train a monkey to do this job, right xerox management? 🙈🙉🙊🐒

Sure you could…….you must know some pretty smart chimps. 🐵

Lmao. You said it not me. 🤣.

Wendy’s is hiring too by the way, so that means nothing.

A dollar a day and all the toner you can eat. 🤑💵

It kind of makes you wonder how or where they will find people to fill the roles.
We are not competitive with other employers.
We do not have the same benefits offered by employers who have changed their 1970’s mindset.
They pay better than normal wages, offer matching retirement plans, offer vacation purchasing and the list goes no.
