So I left Allstate for Liberty and not only am I making $10,000 more a year, I have less pending, less stress and a wonderful manager.

Ill be honest here, its because you are new to the company. give it a year or two and youll be downing in claims with a "this is your problem not ours" mentality from management.
Every major auto insurance company is basically at parity now with work culture, as far as claim handling is concerned. The only difference will be starting pay, and if they salary you for the more than 40hrs you'll work, or if you are hourly and get time and a half for your over 40hrs of work. You'll be working over 40 regardless. Every company is now in a state of being permanently under staffed and unimaginable turnover.
I just wish other industries looked at what we do as more than just customer service.
