@hz that’s an unfair comment. I work in a head office and appreciate the half day fridays. I can’t speak for everyone but I am a salary employee and consistently work until 8-9pm in the evening, on sundays to get get ahead of emails and have taken my laptop on EVERY vacation. 4 hours on a Friday where I can block my calendar and hope that no one is an a hole and books a meeting at the end of the week would be a nice consolation prize.
Anyone working in the beverage business that's asking for summer Fridays off is the definition of non essential.
Summer Fridays? Maybe instead of taking off Friday’s people should be required to work in the field.

Just make your own summer Friday's, that is what everyone in Plano has done for years. No need for any communication.
When you're laid off every Friday will be a summer Friday.
