If I could find any solid job now, I wouldn't think twice whether to stay here or not. Honestly, I thought that getting a new job would be much easier.I wish the market would start improving, but I don't believe that it will happen soon.

It's too bad that everyone voted for economic ruin in 2020 and 2022. The labor market could have been going gangbusters but you get what you vote for!
It’s not impossible, just a little more difficult than it was a year ago. Just keep your foot on the gas, even failed opportunities are a learning experience. I spent the entire time since the announcement looking - it wasn’t quick nor easy but finally found an out.
I started looking as soon as the announcement was made. Still took me 3 months to land something. And I was aggressive too. Its never easy to find a new job.
A job search is hard if you only look for the same skill requirements as well as package. Adjust to the market, learn new sh-t, stop being complacent and job search becomes easy.

Base pay went up by 25k not including the Rsus and other benefits.
The market is definitely tougher nowadays.
You should have started when the takeover was announced.
But don't give up! Use your contacts and keep plugging away. You'll definitely end up eventually with something!
The market has been tough for months because of the recession. Tons of more competition now with thousands of layoffs from tier 1 companies.
