STS office expectations?

I'm aware that People leaders and above have access to badge-in data. One of the STS leaders has been strongly recommending that employees be in the office from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Is this a standard expectation across firm?

I’ve been hearing that teams under CES will need to be in the office for a continuous 8 hours. No “official” announcement yet though.

Report your leader to HR or to the anonymous line. They are not leading your team according to policy.
If you are non exempt, that may be different than if you are exempt.
Schwab must pay overtime as well if these policies are made.
Your PL is a risk to the firm. They are how unions get started.

No one looks at that data unless they are Catbert. Or building an exist case. The employee manual does reference standard hours. And many ignore them unless they’re customer facing.

That’s funny, since when does STS work 8 to 5? When I worked there, for over 30 years, we worked nights, weekends and holidays all while attending daytime project/other meetings as needed in person or remote. We did the needful while supporting a network of international offices working well over a 40 hour week. I guess times have changed there.
Now report some good earnings numbers on 4/16!!!
