What about Sears Hometowns?

Merry belated Christmas all, Happy Hannukah, Happy New Year, Etc.! My question is what about Sears Hometowns? Can we definitively state that every single one of them are now, either closed, or closing? Does someone have a link to corroborate that?

I would like to put the hometown list, to bed, once and for all, but (other than a few FB postings from some understandably, disgruntled, hometown owners), I have not seen any indisputable link that shows that 100% all the Sears Hometowns are closing. Even on the wiki page for Sears Hometowns, it just mentions a bankruptcy, but nowhere does it definitively state that 100% of them are closing. Just curious.

If anyone has anything like that please post it below. Thanks.

The liquidators' press release said 126 stores in one place, 115 in another. The Sears Hometown Stores locator lists 125 stores, a few of which are known to have closed long ago.

@lhx+1knZP04n The site stating that all stores are closing, is a relatively new development. Most likely OP hadn't seen that yet, when he or she wrote this post. That does not make them dense.

More importantly, it's rather unusual that SB360 doesn't, themselves, list the Hometown closures (as they usually do for full line Sears/Kmarts). They simply just redirect people to the clunky, Sears Hometown site, which looks like it was designed by a high school kid in 1992. Curious as to why SB didn't put up the list themselves. Do they, themselves not Know the exact number? Nothing would surprise me with Sears.

@1tkl+1knZP04n Extremely Chilled & settled here....perhaps you aren't. Point remains, if (and it's a big IF), Sears Bermuda is indeed a Hometown, and if (another big IF), it is indeed NOT closing, then it is incorrect to claim that ALL Sears Hometowns are closing.

We should report the news accurately. And there is no indication on the Bermudan Sears' website of any imminent closure.

There was an article yesterday in the Milwaukee Biz Journal regarding the closure of all the Sears Hometown stores including the 5 in Wisconsin.

The press release includes store counts for each state, yet also links to the official Sears Hometown Stores store list which has different counts.

What, a press release? Transformco almost never issues press releases. Oh wait, this one is from Tiger Capital Group. Looks like SB360 is involved, too.
