Been hearing they want to take the company private and for profit for ages, yeah tank the company first then go public? Sounds terrible. Also if we were following allstate wed open up full remote, theyve realized its an easy source of talent and have embraced it.

Either way, our board of directors are trying their best to wreck State Farm.

Those complaining the loudest are realizing the gravy train of getting paid plenty while delivering little is coming to an end. Time to start taking some courses and building new skills. Get off your fat behinds and showcase to your littles what hard work looks like. Stop taking pride in your lawn and more in your contributions. Sad state.

ust my opinion but I think State Farm Executives do understand the dire straits the company is in. End is near for a lot of things. I think at the end of this 3 year plan, next year they are going to do the whole Allstate thing and take the company public. When you view everything they are doing now it makes more sense. Trashing the workforce, automating, outsourcing and making it super attractive for buyers. The sh-t bags at the top will take huge stocks shares before the new board and shareholders kick them to the curb. Once they get automation completed for policy changes and billing, they can finally ditch the agency model. The best way to do that is to take the company public and you can pretty much void any agency contacts. What I would do!

Everyone should strive to be a net contributor to society. No shame in taking short term assistance when needed, but don't have a defeatist attitude from the start. Yes, AI will eventually replace most jobs in the insurance industry, but you have time to reinvent yourself. Learn a trade, start a business, but don't throw up your hands and expect other people to take care of you.

@OP Food banks cannot handle every person at State Farm, let alone all the others losing their jobs. It is a dark day and I do not know if we will EVER see any light again.
