Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

EMPLOYEES DO NOT WANT TO RETURN TO THE OFFICE

They will loose too many employees by forcing time back in the office. Employees have to many advantages by working from home. Less time on the road, less money spent on gas, clothes, food, less wear on vehicle, etc. They can have repairs, deliveries, etc, taken care of without taking time off. They have their own private bathroom and can make lunch at home. There is absolutely no benefit to the employees for being in office. Neither is it a benefit for the employer. Just a micromanagement tool disquised by colorful language like "collaboration" bs.

The RTW is designed to make you quit. The micromanagement and chronic understaffing is designed to make you quit. Everything State Farm is designed to do is to have employees work themselves to a stump, then leave after 2-3 years. Only about the numbers and money! That is the business model. Again, they do not for one second care about you except possibly your TM and maybe sometimes a SM but anyone above that cares absolutely nothing about you.

No choice to the employees now. If you don't comply they will replace you. There are too many people searching for jobs and ready to come and work in office.
