7-Eleven’s chief merchandising officer to depart

Delgado-Jenkins’ retirement continues a flurry of executive exits from 7-Eleven since the end of 2025, including DePinto, Harris and former chief marketing officer Marissa Jarratt. The leadership shakeups come in a year that promises seismic change for 7-Eleven, including a planned initial public offering in North America.

Let’s be clear, none of these leaders retired, all asked to leave but given some dignity on the way out.

This is a joke. The executives are jumping from the sinking ship like cowards. Hundreds of people are losing their jobs (AGAIN) this week due to years upon year of incompetent leadership. But unlike these executives exiting (with very generous separation packages and pension plans), the hundreds losing their jobs this week don't make 7 figures or have a pension plan. In fact, their 401k is probably looking pretty sad these days since 7-Eleven suspended 401k contributions April of 2025.
