The attrition here in Houston is awful but wondered what it’s like in the UK, Australia or Canada as those countries seem to make up most of our leadership. Is it good or really bad.

Anybody over 50 knows their skills have been so d-mbed down by ExxonMobil that they are just hanging on as much as possible. Retirements at 55 or 56 are becoming common and it is a rarity for people to last beyond 60. Those in their 40s are leaving whilst they still can; those below that are getting EM on the CV and disappearing after only a few years. The work colleagues here are good people, in the main, and are genuinely holding the UK together. Fawley attrition is high and when Leatherhead moves to its cr---y little office with 24 allocated parking spaces you might see more giving up.
It’s so sad when you see the UK, Australia at an all time low; we have had some excellent people from those countries.
Fawley site losing lots as said below. EMEEL decimated, the EMTEC resource is just a shell and European projects doesn't even exist from the impact they demonstrate.
It is cheaper to put indians on ex pat status here than the US however.
Lots of people leaving Fawley can’t keep young engineers for longer than a few years and now the experienced ones are moving for greener pastures. Leatherhead has been decimated over the years and moving to a new and much smaller office.
