Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Take advantage of the holiday break

Use the time off to update your resume and LinkedIn (or create one if you don't have it already) and put together a game plan for next year that includes lots of applying and interviews. The best way to reduce stress at this point is to make sure you're employable somewhere else. When you know you can find a new job easily, everything else at Avaya doesn't seem as bad as it does now.

Easy to say when you might be out a job broke and facing eviction. Best way to enjoy the holidays and even better to start the New Years

I've been thinking I'm losing my job since 1998 yet I'm still here

I started building my resume out about 4 months ago... As soon as I started the process I realized how much I didn't want to work at Avaya (at least in my role). I left about two months ago of my own volition. I root for Avaya and all my former coworkers. Thinking about moving own might crystallize your mind to stay/go. Good luck all, and happy holidays.
