I quit GM after I experienced toxic bosses. I have 20 years experience, mostly in Fortune 50 companies. I left the industry and have been extremely popular after my exit from company about 2 years ago. I am now in a high paying leadership role. Especially lately, I have been contacted by multiple people asking for advice to switch industries. This is making me feel good about my decision to quit GM and the industry. Happy Holidays all!

Ghouls? It sounds like original poster had a bad experience at GM and did a lot better elsewhere. Maybe there where too many name callers trying to pretend that they would be lost without GM and should be happy with whatever they are given regardless of what they had earned.
All those things in the last reply are bad for GM, so, yeah. I admit that it's hard to believe that a "popular" employee would leave as that is usually a main prerequisite for success at GM. I would evaluate my own situation at the company and talk to ex-employees and see what they say. For me, that hasn't favored GM.

Be wary of manipulative ghouls that come here to encourage people to quit.
Do you really think this is a good time to leave GM considering the auto loan defaults, high interest rates, record consumer debt and rising auto inventories in new/used lots? SMH

I, too, am a very successful professional with many years of experience. Most of the time I operate under the radar due to the unlawful actions of organizations such as the FBI, but good people know where to find me. Merry Christmas!
