There’s a freeze on expenses. Gut says a layoff coming. Of course it’s going to be the engineers AKA working peasants, not the talking heads that put us in this mess to behind with. The cloud gamble hasn’t delivered.
My vote is out with GK. He tried and while transformation did work, the momentum stalled and the people who remained burned out, further amplified while working from home. Now the company is stagnant. We need fresh leadership with better ideas and concrete plans for growth.
@arw+1kidwZWH Head's up buttercup. Kurian talked about a 'headcount gap' in the all hands. That's harder evidence than any rumor in the past 6 months.

With all the changes Harv has announced teams are being shifted around, people are moving from team to team and no one knows what is being cut and what not nor why.
It makes sense that layoffs will follow. Question is who?
