Boy is she a terrible public speaker.
if they don't know, they either pretend or are detached, hopelessly incompetent leaders. In either case- they suck at your job.
The ELT are simply vesting their stocks and if they last for more than 5 years, which they all will, they'd have earned enough to not work for life. They have no incentives to work hard or move the needle in any meaningful manner. They have already achieved the highest level within the company and there is zero cost to failure. Look, if the cost of failure was high, more than half the ELT would not be here now. Don't waste your time expecting them to deliver. They are looking after themselves, you look after yourself.
When the ELT are not the one getting laid off, then it is their fault.
people were pulling their weight and working hard, meeting numbers and fulfilling projects, then they shouldn't be the one to get sacked.
People are getting paid scraps while the ELT lay people off and award themselves RSUs.
