Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Hmmm!!

I was part of the playoffs of 2020 from Allstate. I work for National General. I love it. They let us be adults and professionals! Two new people on my team were just re-badged from Allstate to NG! I hope they don't bring all this layoff foolishness to NG. We got a good thing going over there!

Um do you know how many departments there are. Maybe MD has that issue, but not in my department. A lot of folks in MD are new from what I see and hear in the claims file. Just like Allstate, all areas weren't bad. My MCO was the bo-b, I hate COVID happened. NG, I haven't had any issues, I do superior work, can't speak for anyone else. Just bc we work for the same company, doesn't mean we have had the same experience. I loved Allstate, while most folks on here seem to hate it! I can only speak for me and I love NG right now. My caseload isn't as heavy as Allstate and I make more money, who would have thunk it working for NG. I would have said more if I knew it was that easy. So again, sucks for whomever, I like it for now. Hopefully this bs with Allstate don't start any foolishness over here.. I don't have to work, I choose to work. If I wasn't happy, I would leave. Some of y'all should leave, stead of crying about it on here all the time. Life is what you make it. Work is what you make it. Not calling folks back happens at any insurance company. I can assure you various adjusters from different companies don't return calls. I think service depends on the adjuster, not the company. No debate!

Nat Gen claim reps don’t return calls. Hate to tell you, Allstate claim reps don’t either.

I work at Nat Gen and was formally with Allstate. Nat Gen has no idea on how to handle claims. Most do not even bother to return calls. They do not follow reserving guidelines. Management gives them no authority to settle claims. Most everything must be approved by management and they look to deny, deny and deny.

How heck y'all going to try to tell me where I work. Then going to try to tell me folks wasn't rebadged when they were. Heck I got to lie for. We had Thanksgiving and the day after off at NG. Bc they were still under Allstate HR, they only got Thanksgiving and had to log in the day after. I know the bs that went in with Allstate, I don't have those issues at NG. Like I said I hope they don't bring the bs to NG. I'm remote, I don't go to the office in Winston, so I don't know about office politics. However, my bosses cool AF! They chill. Long as you do your job, they don't care, I love it! Y'all sound really stupid! Like I said, we got a good thing going over here!!

That is a lie. I know friends that have switched their jobs from allstate to national general. While it's just a little safer for now to go there, it's literally jumping from one pile for po-p to another.

Nat Gen is a complete disaster. Much the same as everything else associated with Allstate. Nat Gen had layoffs since becoming part of Allstate and they will again.
