Colocation BS is back, new HR mandate

It seems the new HR is back with the hammer for colocation.

Contractors, who were remote hired are supposed to be in office during connect week but the full timers in different region are told their position is moved to different region.

You can't be serious!!!! This is an absolute pathetic joke!!!

This is false. I’m a contractor and don’t have to come into the office. All of you “know it alls” - if you are this unhappy- go somewhere else. If you are as talented as you think you are you will easily find another job.

@aw wonderful job???

It's just another attrition tactic from the HR for reducing the headcount

Managers are being asked to find associates in the same region so as to get rid of associates who are not in same site.

How's it associates problem that they moved to Smithfield for a role from Florida, only to have the manger told them ask,
"Your position will be moved to Westlake".

Asking someone to relocate for a role once is understandable.
But doing it twice in less than 6 months is stupid ASF, IMHO
