I am in my early thirties and have been here long enough to see how fast things shift. FIDO still opens doors when recruiters scan a resume, but that window feels smaller each year. I am focusing on learning what I can and staying realistic about how long the shine lasts.

@e4 I think that idea died with the last president. I don't really hear many people saying slow get this will be the last place you work.

Right there with you.. been here 12 yrs approaching upper 30s. Historically jumped from depts as I've grown professionally but options and outlook seem muted to almost nonexistent this yr..

Hopeful our company rights this ship as i truly did want this to be the only place I worked until retirement- seems wishful thinking at this point.
