I'm not sure how I'm going to survive the following weeks knowing what's coming. Why would the leadership be so cruel as to announce this so close to the holidays? They could have waited a few days and let us enjoy Christmas with our families without having to worry about what is coming.

You do realize there is life after GS, right? You should have saved enough $ to pay your house off and have a GFY fund just in case.
But fear not, the entire system is collapsing so it doesn’t really matter anyway. Bad times are coming for everyone.
They don’t want you to spend money right now. Be glad you are getting advanced notice.
