Anyone know the stores that make up the NN75( Next Next 75) list? Could you share?
@1pt Experienced this happen right after New Year 2025. Store was ready for inventory and recieved a call the morning before Inventory Night. Also barely recieved any inventory after Black Friday.

Stores who get a late call will get it before it does Inventory. Those not doing inventory will close.

R125 has already been known according to the website of Macy's. Your NJ evaluation checks out.

@1pf These are among the next to get upgraded according to the regional district manager. The R125 include 8 stores: Bridgewater, Cherry Hill, Garden State Plaza, Menlo Park, Newporte Centre, Short Hills, Quakerbridge and Willowbrook.
The NN75 which is after the R125 include 5 NJ stores: Deptford, Freehold, Paramus Park, Rockaway, Woodbridge.
Macy's is investing heavily in NJ. Despite some stores being in struggling malls they still do numbers. They want to take advantage of the lack of competition from Dillard's and Belk. Its a marketing strategy.
So it's 13 NJ stores now in the R200.

50 Stores Will Be Remodeled in the Spring late April/early May. 25 Stores will be remodeled in the summer late July/early August. These are the NN75.
In NJ, Deptford, Rockaway, Freehold, Woodbridge, Paramus Park are part of NN75.

You don’t know what you are talking about. 75 stores have been added to the upgrades, NN75 (Next Next 75) making up the R200 doors (R125 + NN75 = R200). There will be 12-15 closures announces by Jan 8.

According to a source monitoring the situation, 42 Stores (including furniture galleries) will be announced for closing on Thursday, January 8, 2026. These will close by end of March.
Also in 2026, 50 more stores will be remodeled in addition to the R125.
On a video made about 2 weeks ago, Tony Spring stated he is still fully committed to closing150 stores and keeping about 350 stores open, which will be remodeled in order to maximize consumer experience.

@1ba That’s old news. With the Arkhouse/Brigade buyout off the table, the metrics have changed. They’ve lowered the bar on what keeps a door open. It’ll be 12-15 a year for the next few years. More like the old days.
Goal is to have 350 Macy’s stores by 2028, a 150 store count reduction. 66 Macy’s stores closed this year. If 15 stores are closing in 2026, then 69 stores remain on the chopping block in 2027.

Mays Landing, New Jersey location at Hamilton Mall is closing early next year. Lease is up plus store is a low performer. The nearest locations are in Deptford, NJ and Toms River, NJ.
The rumor is 40-50 stores closing. There’s a list of 30(ish) out already and I know a few will be added.
Most can see the writing on the wall. There might be like 4/5 surprises but trust me. If you know your mall, location, and overall stock in store….you probably already know the answer.
The usual dates for GOBs is the first Tuesday or Wednesday of January. There will not be as many as you would think.
