Fayetteville announced plant closure today. All contract negotiations have been cancelled. They state end of 2027 but I guess they’ll pull a Union City and close it this July during the holiday shutdown.
@jd7 Total hasn’t been officially stated yet. Rumor is 40/week until end of May.

Fayetteville is on the way out the door. It’s pretty much over.

Goodyear to Close Tall Timbers Facility

From Goodyear:
Goodyear announced it will consolidate its two U.S. mold facilities into a single location in Statesville, North Carolina. As a result, the company will close its Tall Timbers mold facility in Findlay, Ohio.
We recognize this decision is difficult for the approximately 85 associates impacted by the closure. Goodyear is committed to treating all impacted associates with fairness, respect and transparency while providing comprehensive support during their transition.
The Tall Timbers facility is expected to close by March 31, 2026.

@OP looks like layoffs are done. Major upgrades for topeka and fayetteville incoming. 2026 should be a huge upswing for USA
