I was surprised when I found out Agreement employees do not get a match on their 401K contributions. I am a long-time non-agreement employee (not really management, but doing an essential job that makes $$ for the Railroad.) I totally support my Agreement coworkers!
Your unions need to negotiate a 401K match in your labor agreements!

Non-agreement get matches. The amount matched depends on whether the employee was hired before or after the pension was frozen. If before, the match is up to 3% for the first 6% contributed.
