Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Avoiding bankruptcy

I wonder if there is any way Avaya can avoid bankruptcy? In any case, you should keep your eyes wide open and look for new opportunities because I think the possibility of bankruptcy is high. Don't take my word for it, that's just my opinion.

They are still negotiating. That's a fact stated in the 8k. The 23 notes holder referring to 29 is the key it seems. If avaya goes bk those note holders lose everything. A key figure is negotiating a conversion price from 10/share by avaya and 1.95/share 23 notes holders. They need to meet in the middle somewhere.

They are going Chapter 11 (again) since the lenders didn't want THEIR money to simply buy down the debt obligation and not for the growth of the company, so they made the call to Avaya to pay up... So here we go again....

Doesn't the 8k virtually show that a deal has been struck with RingCentral? New board member, and rhe Section 4 comments on Pre Chapter 11 filing with words around a RingCentral deal ? Seemed confusing, hopefully someone can explain.
