What are some tips you can offer that would help us collaborate better?
*Try to meet with your core team members by scheduling water cooler dates and times.
*Reach out to your internal customers and let them know when you will be in the office and in which neighborhood.
*Attend meetings in person when in the office and introduce yourself to new team members.

Productivity is down and I am making more mistakes. It will impact profits but management is willing to make that trade off.

I'm having fun seeing my coworkers but it honestly is harder to concentrate. I'm getting less done than when I stayed home and because of all the time spent commuting I am working less hours.

Wasn’t as bad as I anticipated but I didn’t get much done. I had a hard time with remembering to bring certain things. The parking situation was somehow worse?! How are there less people but the parking is full?
Regardless, I still suspect far less productivity. It won’t persuade mgt to send us back home. I’m afraid they will go in the opposite direction by demanding 5 days in the office. Time will tell. But we have bigger bonuses to look forward to.
I’m a little concerned about the $2 billion in cuts down the line.

I'm at the Canadian Technical Centre up in Canada (Markham/Oshawa in the province of Ontario). My leader is taking a hard line on us having to be in the office 3 days a week which we have been doing since the start of the year. Most of my peers in other engineering areas have stated that their leaders are not taking the same hard line and that working from the office is on an as-needed basis only. I'm OK with RTO as long as the rules are applied equally especially considering I can very easily continue to do my job effectively from home.
