Avaya submitted the initial stalking horse bid of $475 million for Nortel Enterprise Solutions. Siemens submitted bids during the auction and went back and forth with Avaya. That drove the price up to $900 million plus an additional $15 million for the employee retention program.
Avaya employees should get together and put an employee purchase offer on the table.
ALE is owned by China Huaxin. A merger would mean either Huaxin buys Avaya or the Avaya investors buy ALE from Huaxin. The former option is highly unlikely given Avaya's federal base. Are Avaya investors prepared to put even more into this company?
Siemens was interested in Nortel's Enterprise Solutions division during the bankruptcy.
Were there any other bidders when Avaya bought the Nortel Enterprise Solutions business unit?
No....can insert ANY Vendor.
RNG wouldn't have the cash.
Mitel acquiring Unify (Atos)
Etc etc

MSFT is one who could easily swing it and benefit the most.
AL? Works for UK and parts of EUR. Does it work across the board? TBD.
Unsubstantiated sentence of words strung together.
Cross out A-L and insert any other vendor would be just as accurate.
Full Avaya or just take over international business as a aya breaks itself up bit by bit?
