That is a pretty good package. Last gig I got laid off from we had to use up our vacay or lose it BUT management expected us to be there training the new staff from HCLTech in India who were taking our jobs. What a cluster f&%k! HAHA They're getting what they paid for!
- 60 days on the payroll. During this time RSUs and options continue to vest, vacation continues to accrue, all benefits continue.
- severance of 4 wks salary for the first two years of service, plus one week per additional year, paid out in a lump sum after 60 days. Accrued vacation also paid out.
- Cobra paid for the same number of weeks as severance.
- you keep the laptop. It self-wipes and does a clean reinstall at the end of the notification day.
- cell phone service paid for two weeks. If the company bought your phone (haha, they stopped that sh-t years ago), you get to keep it.
- ICP paid out at 100% personal multiplier, subject to company multiplier though (which sucks this year). Prorated for people who started in fy23, full year for everyone else,
- placement assistance with Lee Hecht Harrison, based on your level (ic=1 month, management=2 months, executive=3 months)
I've seen better packages here and there, but this is pretty generous.
laptop is intune autopilot integrated if PC or JAMF managed if Mac. It will become a brick if it is kept.

2 months + 1 week per year maxed at 12 weeks
Standard package for longer term staff is 1 month per year of service plus contracted notice period. Immediate stop on healthcare and additional allowances such as car if you get it. in those areas that get it icp bonus you can kiss it goodbye unless you work on the qualification date which isn't until the end of q4. Also if you thought it was tough getting your expenses paid out while you were and employee you are in for a fun experience. It took over 4 months and threatening emails to get my last claim paid by finance despite receiving immediate approval from management.
Is there a limit on the one week for each year of service?
If i worked 15 years will i get 15 weeks or is there a cap?
8 weeks WARN full pay and benefits but no access to company resources

Phone is disconnected immediately
Laptop is wiped immediately
2 Months, 2 week for every year as cash. Vacation is paid out. IPP will be paid out at 100%
