Some Layoffs in Germany (eg. Automotive Account Team), no Works Council in Germany
Works council needs to be involved first. Don't expect an result in the next days. A month or more is more likely.
EMEA support here.
I'm hopeful for support in AMS, with the whole Cork center just starting it would not be logical to cut jobs there. Except for ending products
EMEA layoffs are very different then US. Their process might be starting today but depending on the country it can be awhile before they know because so many parties need to sign off first. I had an EMEA peer get cut, he was told he job would be redundant sooner or later, please look but the position will be eliminated. I think it was almost 4 months before they could actually cut him. (this was maybe 10 years ago when Georgens was still CEO so I'm fuzzy on exact details.
EMEA IT ... RIP
Emea the layoff has to pass the works ouncil. No mail from them yet on this.
EMEA, are we getting 1:1 meetings as well or would we be notified otherwise? Let’s share our experience here
