I have never heard of a company docking pay of salary employees nor have I seen suspension of 401K match. We must be desperate indeed. The layoffs are coming and it will be ugly.
As far as the 20% salary cut unless DG also gives back the retention bonus it rings hollow.
I've never worked at a place that basically furloughs all of it's full time employees for 1 week and stops its 401k match. The company needs to be broken up and sold imo. It feels like the additional investment is effectively selling more shares to keep the company afloat.
I thought the whole point of working for salary was that it was a set wage. Wouldn’t it be technically illegal to garnish our salary without cause?
I don’t blame the current regime for the tax problem we will pay for this quarter. I don’t blame them for buying Sandisk. I blame them for poor execution since the day they walked in as well as total disregard for the hood front line workers. I also blame the board for approving retention bonuses for garbage performance.

All the employees need to pay for the mismanagement of leadership teams who own lots of shares and waiting for company merge to cash out. Absolutely disaster. How to continue working.
