Notices are going out for 1:1's tomorrow morning, if you get one you are most likely hit. If you don't get one you should be ok.... but check with your manager by end of day.
Scope still sounds like it is broad from discussions.... sand paper of groups based on stack ranking.... A few exceptions....

Anyone find it interesting that the 60 calendar days used in this action sets the last day of employment as April 1st, April Fools Day. Would have expected that someone working with the team creating the package plans would have realized that and extended the window to something similar to other recent Tech layoff's to a 12 week or so window. That would at least matched up the end of the Fiscal year for all those impacted.
We got our group meeting the last half hour of our shift. Then I had to stay 2 hours late cuz my 1:1 ran behind. One manager did the your safe list (very short list, 7 people total out of 24) another manager got to inform all the people they were cut. Seems strange to keep buying companies and building new buildings & hiring over the last year only to turn around and layoff 8%. ICT got hit pretty good, my team got decimated.
Near as I can tell, 2 from my 7 person team were cut, I believe both of us were the newest people on the team, less than a year each at NetApp.
3 from our team ; 2 5+ years employees; 1 new hire ..

Yep.. laid off after 3+ years at NetApp (NC, USA). Rocky experience but had a great boss to navigate the storms so far.
2 months + severance pay. I'd say the cuts are broad and cannot complain much - just unlucky.
Severance pay usually comes after your standard paychecks. If the reduction in force is too great, NetApp has to provide 60 days of notice because of WARN. They'll probably file something with WARN today for the regions or states that are impacted greatly.
You'll probably get 2 additional months of salary pay on top of whatever is calculated for your individual severance and COBRA insurance benefits. Severance pay will pay out after the 60 day period.
Please post what part of the world you are in if you got a 1:1 scheduled today so people know what regions are actively being hit

I’m also seeing Spot on other forums (blind). Apparently the VP has a long string of 15 minute meetings lined up tomorrow. This is very surprising. That was pretty much the last place that I would have guessed to see layoffs. Huge growth and was even called out as a positive in the last earnings call by George.

Yep, that happened to me as well. I'm remote, my Monday 1:1 was moved to Tuesday first thing in the morning, though my manager's manager was not included.
This isn't fake. I'm in San Jose. My Monday one-on-one was replaced with a Tuesday morning meeting with my manager and his manager.

Struggling to bother doing any work today.
A manager will send you an invitation for an early 1:1 either the night before or first thing the morning of... 15-30 min meeting with an unclear subject. Most send out the night before so you see it early enough to ensure you join.
Notices for the Aug 2020 layoffs went out the day before, at least for many of the people in my location. I remember actually going to bed a little bit relieved because people were talking about the meetings on Slack and I hadn’t gotten one. Then I checked my calendar first thing in the morning and still no invite. We’ll see if I’m so lucky this time.
