The change has been notified? What are you talking about?
I am a sr manager in enterprise sales. So this only applies to sales, but the changed has notified. Stay tuned next week as changes will be made. Again I only know this about sales side of the biz.
If you search by Raghu in Source Org Chart, then show as List, you can see the total number of employees in the company. You can refresh each day to show gains and losses. There was a big drop last week, then a few small increases, then another drop today (~80 people). Likely due to the start of the new FY.
Yes, annual Jan. layoffs are usually quiet. Sales and SEs got hit this time across a few BUs, from what I know.
Were quiet layoffs done?
@5rwp+1kTRF9tg if you don't have validated information, don't spread the rumor here, which can only trigger anxieties.
Next week it will be announced.
Unannounced Jan. layoffs have been happening since I started here in 2013. Except for the random group reorg, we're most likely done with layoffs until after the EU approves the merger. April/May.
Q4 end is Friday 3rd Feb not 31 Jan.
Don't know why they got downvoted. I would presume the same.
Tomorrow is the last chance VMware has to fix the numbers for Q4. If anything, it will be tomorrow.
I just want to survive these next two days.
Thank you. I didn't know that.
That wasn't even a round. That was just trimming the very obvious poor performers. There wasn't even any sorting made.
As soon as it is announced
