We started with $40k salary in sales which never increased in over 7 years.
Ouch. There's 10 years down the drain.
Started in 2012 right out of Grad School with a job in my field of study in Webster at $75k (non engineering). Left in Q3 of 2021 at $87.5k after one "promotion" and a few years of 2-4% MIPs.

I get three strikes with the whip for motivation and a bowl of gruel every week.

It services 70k
$19 an hour. Core warehouse.
There is no 1 week pay per year of service severance. That disappeared a long time ago. Fun fact: First IRIF it was one month per year of service.
Engineering 25 years 55k
40 year tech from another company my entire career, we were absorbed by Xerox. I have no retirement except for my 401K. Couldn't even get the 1 week pay for every year deal, thought about leaving but I'm not a "proper" xerox employee so no pension. It's tough to start over being over 60 years old, but there is no future here except to collect a check.
I have good pay, 6 weeks vaca and a great manager but the stress is undeniable. 15 calls plus every morning, Staples, Lexmark plus all the old cr-p we keep holding onto because sales only look for the big, sweet deals. We are so short staffed; I could literally tell my president to F-off and I'd still have a job. The key is to not care, those of us who do care are id--ts.
