I think it should be illegal what senior management is doing by lying and acting like they have no idea who or when layoffs will be. However, they sure have new training classes in the Philippines lined up. It's one thing for allstate to want to get rid of U.S. workers but it's even sicker that they dont want to pay us the severence that we earned. If I don't hear anything by April I honestly might reach out to an attorney and explain everything and see if we have any rights which we probably don't lol

Don't know about ASIC but RMBC getting their notices next week.
They have ASIC reps training classes from the Philippines right now. They are waiting for them to be fully trained before letting everyone go.
So what if we don't want to go to the vendor or claims? How can they legally do that? I should have a choice where I work in Allstate or I should be granted my release. We aren't property. I want my severance. Are the hogs gonna sc--w us?
@otd not sure. saw it on earlier thread though.
even if we were to get severance it is highly taxed over 40% in most cases and not exactly like winning the lottery. got cobra and other things to pay out of it. you need to be here like 30+ years for severance to be worth staying. that severance goes quick. i hope to be rebadged out of allstate with a job.
To the last comment. Starr said at the non informational town halls in November and December we were either getting rebadged or released. Not that I believe anything that comes out of upper management mouth. Has that changed?
none of us in asic are getting severance. someone earlier said we are either being moved to vendor or to claims or other department. no one getting laid off.
This is the op. I been with allstate 15 years and severence would be 35,000. I'm not walking away from that
For 6 months you could have been looking for a new job but all you have been doing is whine.
