It it was possible, I’d leave faster than sh*t through a goose.
Unfortunately, the current regime wants people to leave without a package. Gives them more money to reward the job grade 15 and up with more bonuses and stock options (not that 3M stock is worth anything).
The best thing you can do is start quiet quitting right now. 3M has taken enough of your hide already. Why bust your bu-t for 2 percent raises? Make it obvious enough that the boss has almost no choice than to put your name in the queue. Sorry to say it has come to this, but any company that allows a guy like Mike to last this long no longer deserves respect.
I know several people who would be happy to leave.
